A prisoner in Greater Tehran Prison saved from execution

Breathing in Confinement: A prisoner who had been sentenced to retaliation for killing his fellow inmate in Greater Tehran Prison was saved from the death penalty by paying a ransom to and obtaining consent from the victim’s family.

According to Hamshahri Online, a prisoner named Soheil, sentenced to death for killing an inmate named Jafar during a scuffle in Greater Tehran Prison on October 12, 2018, returned to life by paying a ransom to the blood owners and obtaining their consent.
