Breathing in Confinement: On the morning of January 25, a wrestler from the City of Andimeshk, who for five years had been under execution in prison for murder, was executed in Dezful prison this morning disregarding the international protests.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, the death sentence of Mehdi Ali Hosseini, a wrestler from Andimeshk, who had been detained for murder since 2015, was carried out in Dezful Prison on January 25, 2021.
Mehdi Ali Hosseini, 30, was received a death sentence on charge of killing a person in a scuffle in 2015.
On January 10, the execution of this prisoner had been postponed with a 7 day respite.
