Four prisoners saved from execution, three in Mazandaran and one in Rafsanjan

Breathing in Confinement, January 25, 2021: Four prisoners under execution on murder charges, were saved from the death penalty with the consent of victims’ families.

According to the IRNA news agency, three prisoners in the Cities of Amol, Ghaemshahr and Simorgh, who were sentenced to death for murder, returned to life with the consent of victims’families.

In other news, Rokna wrote that a 27-year-old prisoner who had been sentenced to death since January 2017, for the murder of a 20-year-old man, was pardoned by the victim’s mother and saved from the noose.
