According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Monday, February 22, 2021, Mohammad Irannejad was arrested by security forces at his bookstore in Tehran and was taken to an unknown location.

At the time of his arrest, the agents searched Mr. Irannejad’s bookstore and confiscated his books, as well as a number of his personal belongings, including his and his customers’ cell phones.

The reason for his arrest and his whereabouts is yet to be known.
