Breathing in Confinement: Being pardoned by the victims’ families, two prisoners who had previously been sentenced to death in Mazandaran Prison for murder, were released from prison.
According to Mazandaran Province Public Relations of the Justice, two prisoners sentenced to death, were rescued from the gallows after obtaining the consent of victims’ families.
According to Dispute Resolution Council in Mazandaran, over the last one year, 33 prisoners on death row were pardoned by the victims’ families and saved from execution.
