Breathing in Confinement: The retired teacher Mahboubeh Farahzadi, an Iranian Teachers’ Trade Association activist and a member of the Voice of Iranian Women Association, was summoned to be questioned by Branch 7 of the Evin Court.

 

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, the retired teacher Mahboubeh Farahzadi, an Iranian Teachers’ Trade Association activist and a member of the Voice of Iranian Women Association, was summoned to be questioned by Branch 7 of the Evin Court.

 

Ms. Farahzadi must appear in Evin Court within 5 days of receiving the summon to give explanation about the accusation of propaganda activities either against the government or public institutions.

 

Previously on September 3, 2019, Ms. Farahzadi had been summoned to Branch 2 of the Evin Prosecutor’s Office and after 4 days  on September 7, when she appeared there, she was interrogated for several hours.
