Breathing in Confinement: On Sunday, November 21, 2021, Pedram Abhar, a Baha’i citizen living in Tehran, was arrested by security forces at his father’s house in Shiraz.

 

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Pedram Abhar, a Baha’i citizen, was arrested by security forces while at his father’s house in Shiraz and taken to an unknown location. Security forces confiscated the personal belongings of Pedram Abhar and that of his family during the arrest.

Pedram Abhar lives in Tehran. But when he was at his father’s house in Shiraz, security forces went there and searched the house.

Security agents also confiscated some of pedram’s and his family’s personal belongings, including  residential document, photo frames, books related to the Baha’i faith, national cards, passports and cell phones, as well as Pedram’s laptop and hard drives.
