Breathing in Confinement: On March 10, 2024, Ali Zohdi, a civil engineer from Tabriz, was detained by security forces in Tabriz and transferred to an unknown location.

According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news agency of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, 27-year-old Ali Zohdi from Tabriz was detained by security forces in Tabriz on Sunday, March 10, and so far there is no information about his place of detention and the reason for his arrest.

According to an informed source, Ali Zohdi was detained by security forces upon returning home after dropping off his sister at university. Given his heart condition, Ali Zohdi’s family are concerned about his health status, and so far they have not been able to obtain any information about the arrest and whereabouts of their son.
