Protest Gathering of Dismissed Titanium Mine Workers and Buyers of Farda Auto Vehicles

Breathing in Confinement – On Saturday, 26 April 2025, at least two protest gatherings were held.

According to the Statistics Center of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Breathing in Confinement, dismissed local workers from the Kahnouj Titanium Mine gathered in front of the company to protest their dismissal and non-renewal of their contracts. Over the past six months, at least 60 local workers have been dismissed from the titanium mine, and despite repeated promises by officials, no effective action has been taken to reinstate these workers. Additionally, on 27 March, 10 more workers were dismissed under the pretext of non-renewal of their contracts.

Meanwhile, buyers of Farda Auto vehicles staged a protest in front of the company’s building in Tehran, protesting the company’s failure to deliver their pre-ordered vehicles months after the promised delivery date, and the continued lack of response from company officials.
