Breathing in Confinement – At dawn on Sunday, 4 May 2025, the death sentence of at least one prisoner convicted on charges of murder was carried out in Kerman Central Prison.

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was hanged in Shahab Prison, Kerman, on the morning of Sunday, 4 May 2025. The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed as Saeed Shokoohi.

According to the report, Saeed Shokoohi, a resident of Faryab in Kerman Province, had previously been arrested on charges of murder and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Sunday, 4 May 2025, in Kerman Central Prison.
