Breathing in Confinement – The death sentence of at least one prisoner who had previously been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death has been carried out in Kerman Prison.

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Sunday, 30 November 2025, a prisoner was hanged in Kerman Prison. The identity of the prisoner, Mansour Jalali, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.

Mansour Jalali, 40, from Chahdak-e Narmanshar in Kerman Province, had previously been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death. His sentence was carried out at dawn on Sunday, 30 November 2025, in Kerman Prison.

Annual Report on Executions in Iran
