3 Arab activists arrested in Ahwaz

Breathing in Confinement – Three Arab activists from Hamidiyye have been arrested by the intelligence office of Ahwaz.

According to a report obtained by Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran (PRLI), Said Sayyahi, Masoud Sayyahi and Morteza Shakhi have been arrested by the intelligence office of Ahwaz on 27 July 2019.

According to local sources they have been arrested for writing slogans on the walls.

Said Sayyahi, 20 and Masoud Sayyahi, 17 are two brothers who were active in helping the victims of floods in Khuzestan province last March.

Morteza Shakhi, 19, is a resident of Mostazafin alley of Hamidiyye city.
