Breathing in Confinement: At dawn on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the execution of a prisoner convicted of “murder” was carried out in Qarveh Prison.
According to “Breathing in Confinement,” the news agency of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, a prisoner was executed in Qarveh Prison. The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed as Mehdi Cheraghi by “Breathing in Confinement.”
According to the reporter from “Breathing in Confinement,” “Mehdi Cheraghi, a resident of Qarveh and son of Ahmad, was arrested seven years ago on the charge of killing his farming partner, a 64-year-old man, and was sentenced to death.”
