Breathing in Confinement – Ali Ahmad Suleiman, Kurdish death row political prisoner was exiled to Central Prison of Tabriz.
According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, this Kurdish prisoner, who had been taken from ward 12 of Central Prison of Orumieh by the Ministry of Intelligence agents on 3rd February and his condition was unknown, has been exiled to the Central Prison of Tabriz.
He is held in ward 9 of Central Prison of Tabriz, where the prisoners who have been sentenced to death are held.
It is worth mentioning that, Tabriz Central Prison has not a distinct political ward and political prisoners in this prison, have to endure their sentences in the general crime prisoners’ wards.
