Breathing in Confinement: At dawn on Sunday, December 1, the death sentence of at least one prisoner, who had previously been arrested and convicted of “murder,” was carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at least one prisoner was executed for the charge of “murder” at dawn on Sunday, December 1, in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj. The identity of this prisoner, Amir Moradi, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.

Based on information from Breathing in Confinement, Amir Moradi, a resident of Hamedan, had previously been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death. Amir Moradi was secretly executed at dawn on Sunday, December 1, in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj, without his family being informed or given a chance for a final visit.
