Breathing in Confinement: On Saturday, December 25, 2021, the imprisoned lawyer, Arash Kaykhosravi was temporarily released from Evin Prison on bail, awaiting the trial. Mr. Kaykhosravi along with some other citizens and lawyers, including Mostafa Nili, was arrested on August 14, in a meeting at the office of the Association for the Protection of Civil Rights in Tehran.

 

According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Saturday, December 25, 2021, the imprisoned lawyer, Arash Kaykhosravi was released from Evin Prison on bail of 800 million Toman, awaiting the court’s decision.

On August 14, nine lawyers and civil activists, including Mostafa Nili, Arash Kaykhosravi, Mehdi Mahmoudian, Mohammad Reza Faghihi, Mohammad Hadi Erfanian Kaseb, Maryam Afrafraz, and Leila Heidari, were arrested in a meeting at the office of the Association for the Protection of Civil Rights in Tehran.

 

Mohammad Hadi Erfanian Kaseb and Leila Heydari were released a few hours after their arrest. The lawyer, Mohammad Reza Faghihi and the civil activist  Maryam Afrafaraz who is a member of Imam Ali Society, were released on August 29. Mostafa Nili was also released on bail from Evin Prison on Saturday, December 18.
