Arrest of Amin Moradi, a member of the Iranian Writers Association

Breathing in Confinement, November 30, 2020: Amin Moradi, a poet and a member of the Iranian Writers Association, was arrested.

According to the Iranian Writers Association, on Saturday morning, November 28, security forces raided the home of Amin Moradi, a poet and member of the Iranian Writers Association. After about two hours of searching, his personal belongings, including two laptops, a computer, a cell phone, and a number of books were confiscated and he was transferred to Evin Prison.

The Iranian Writers Association expressing concern over the widespread outbreak of the Coronavirus infection as well as Mr. Moradi’s lumbar disc problem and lung disease has called for the immediate release of this poet.
