Arrest of Bafrin Ahmadoush, a Child from Urmia, by IRGC Intelligence Forces and Transfer to an Unknown Location

Breathing in Confinement, Monday, 17 August 2026: Bafrin Ahmadoush,
a child from Kachaleh village near Urmia, was arrested on the morning of Sunday, 16 August, during a raid by IRGC Intelligence forces on a family home and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to reporters from Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, IRGC Intelligence forces raided the family home of Shaban Ahmadoush and Ebrahim Ahmadoush, two of Bafrin Ahmadoush’s uncles, on Sunday morning, searched the premises, and arrested them. Bafrin Ahmadoush, who was also present at the time, was arrested along with her two uncles.

According to information received by Breathing in Confinement, the three were arrested during the security operation without the family being made aware of any judicial warrant being presented.
