Breathing in Confinement: A few days ago, the Kurdish prisoner, Suran Sharifi, who was being held at Bukan Intelligence Detention Center, was released released on bail awaiting the court’s decision.
During his detention, Suran Sharifi had only a short phone calls to his family and was denied the right to counsel and to visit his family.
On Monday, May 24, 2021, without presenting an arrest warrant, security forces arrested Mr. Sharifi and confiscated some of his personal belongings, including his cellphone, computer, and books.
