Deadly shooting by police kills a Kulbar [1] in Sardasht

Breathing in Confinement: On the evening of Thursday, October 14, a Kulbar from the City of Sardasht named Zhian Alipour, was shot dead by a Border Force Police officer in the Alan border highlands while he was carrying goods across the border. Zhian was the brother of political prisoner, Hushmand Alipour.

 

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Zhian Alipour, 32, from the City of Sardasht, was shot dead by Iranian police at such a close distance that the bullet passed through his chest and exited his back.

Zhian Alipour had two children.
