Breathing in Confinement: At dawn on Monday, November 25, 2024, the death sentence of at least one prisoner, who had been sentenced to execution on charges of “murder,” was carried out at Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz.

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at least one prisoner was executed at dawn on Monday, November 25, on murder charges in Shiraz Central Prison. The identity of the prisoner, Reza Shahbazi Khalari, was confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.

As per the reporter of Breathing in Confinement, Reza Shahbazi Khalari, son of Karim from Shiraz, had previously been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to execution. His family was unable to secure consent from the victim’s family, and the sentence was carried out at dawn on Monday, November 25, in the yard of Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz.
