The identity of the prisoner, Reza Shahbazi Khalari, was confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.
As per the reporter of Breathing in Confinement, Reza Shahbazi Khalari, son of Karim from Shiraz, had previously been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to execution. His family was unable to secure consent from the victim’s family, and the sentence was carried out at dawn on Monday, November 25, in the yard of Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz.
