Breathing in Confinement: A prisoner sentenced to death for murder was executed on Sunday, July 12, 2020, in Dizel Abad Prison in Kermanshah.
According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Center, on the morning of Sunday, July 12, 2020, a prisoner named “Farzad Shokri” from the village of “Kol Davood” in the countryside of Sarpol-e Zahab County, was executed in Dizel Abad Prison in Kermanshah. The prisoner had been arrested four years ago on a charge of murder and was later sentenced to death.
