Breathing in Confinement: A prisoner sentenced to death on charges of murder, was executed in Noor Prison on June 16, 2020.

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, a prisoner who was arrested and sentenced to death in 2015 for killing an environment protector in the forests of Noor County, was executed in Noor Prison on Monday, June 15, 2020, after the victim’s family refused to pardon him. Breathing in Confinement has identified the prisoner as Sayyed Mohammad Hosseini. Five years ago, Mohammad Hosseini’s father of two, from Chamestan-Sofla, had been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of killing an environment protector in the forests of Noor County.

“Mr. Hosseini was from Chamestan Noor. All members of the victim’s family pardoned him, except for his mother. And this led to the execution of Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini. “Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, 32, had two children,” an informed source told Breathing in Confinement.
