Breathing in Confinement: A prisoner, sentenced to death on the charge of murder, was recently executed.
According to IRIB News Agency, a death sentence has recently been carried out in the City of Shahr e Kord. “The prisoner named N. A, was from the City of Lordegan and his sentence had been issued in 2017,” IRIB reported without mentioning the exact day of the execution.
It is noteworthy that Iran ranks first in the world’s per capita execution.
