Breathing in Confinement – On Sunday morning, January 26, a prisoner who had previously been sentenced to death for murder was executed in Zanjan Prison.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Organization, a prisoner was executed in Zanjan prison on Sunday, January 26, 2020.
The prisoner was reportedly identified as Sobhan Karimi, who was in jail for about 4-5 years. In a mass fight, Sobhan had killed a citizen living in the County of Zarina in a Kurdistan province.
