Execution of Farshad Ghaderi in Karaj Central Prison

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of Prisoners’ Rights in Iran, a prisoner was hanged in Karaj Central Prison in the early hours of Tuesday, 27 October. The prisoner has been identified by Breathing in Confinement as Farshad Ghaderi.

According to information received, Farshad Ghaderi, from a village in Delfan County, had previously been sentenced to death on charges of “murder” arising from an altercation. His death sentence was carried out at dawn on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, in Karaj Central Prison.
