Breathing in confinement: At dawn on Saturday, 14 December 2024, a prisoner previously arrested and sentenced to death for drug-related offenses was executed in Malayer Central Prison.

According to “Breathing in confinement,” the executed prisoner was Sheikh Hassan Ebrahimi Geravand, the son of Hossein and a resident of Chah Kheir village in Kouhdasht County. He was arrested five years ago for drug-related charges and sentenced to death. The execution was carried out at dawn on Saturday, 14 December.
