Pooya Mazloumi, a scientific-practical student, was sentenced to 5 years in prison

Breathing in Confinement: Pooya Mazloumi, a scientific-practical student and one of the detainees of the nationwide uprising in Tehran, was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment and social bans.

 

According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Pooya Mazloumi, a scientific-practical student, was sentenced to imprisonment as well as social bans.

 

According to the ruling,  issued by Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Abolghasem Salavati which has been recently notified to Mr. Mazloumi, he has been sentenced to 5 years in prison, 2 years of ban on leaving the country as well as 2 years of ban on any kind of activities on social media.

 

Pooya Mazloumi, a scientific-practial student, was arrested by the security forces on October 1, 2022 and taken to Evin prison.

He is now imprisoned in Tehran prison.
