Revolutionary Court in Ardabil summons twelve civil activists

Breathing in Confinement: To present their latest defense, twelve civil activists from Ardabil were summoned to Branch 2 of the Revolutionary Court.

 

According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, the civil activists Parviz Siabi Gorjan, Hossein Balakhani Issa Lou, Morteza Parvin Jeda, Hamed Heidari Baris, Mohammad Joulani Ojagh, Mostafa Parvin Jeda, Sobhan Bakhshi, Mehdi Hooshmand, Bahman Kheirjoo Mojtaba Parvin Jeda, Asghar Akbarzadeh Khezrabadi and Sajjad Joulani Ojaq, received a notification through “Sana system” the electronic notification system of the Judiciary, in which they have been asked to appear in the second branch of the Revolutionary Court of Ardabil at 9:30 am, on Monday, September 20, 2021, to present their last defense.

As per the notification the activists have been charged with “offending the Supreme Leader.”

 

After being beaten, they had been arrested on September 29, 2020, in Jeiran Park in Ardabil.
