Breathing in Confinement – At dawn on Tuesday, 15 April 2025, the death sentences of at least two prisoners convicted of drug-related offences were carried out in Shahab Prison, Kerman.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, two prisoners were executed in the early hours of Tuesday at Shahab Prison. Their identities have been confirmed as Rahim Rahimnejad and Abubakr Shahbakhsh.
As reported, Rahim (Yadgar) Rahimnejad, from Baneh, had been arrested two years ago after he accepted 40 million tomans in exchange for transporting a passenger to Tehran.
