Breathing in Confinement: Ruhollah (Rada) Mardani, a teachers’ union activist, was summoned to the court in the City of Nurabad.

 

According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Ruhollah (Rada) Mardani, a teachers’ union activist, was summoned to the Nurabad city court in Lorestan province. The summons said that Mr. Mardani was supposed to appear in the court of Nurabad city on Saturday, March 5, regarding his charge of propaganda activities against the regime.

 

Mr. Mardani had been arrested in a protest gathering held in front of the Delfan Education Department Center on February 19, concurrently with the nationwide protest rallies staged by the employed and retired teachers.
