Saeed Shirzad Transferred To Political Prisoners’ Ward In Rajai Shahr Prison

Breathing in Confinement – Saeed Shirzad, a political prisoner in the prison of Rajai Shahr in Karaj, was transferred to the political prisoners’ ward in this prison.

According to the reporters of “Breathing in Confinement”, after numerous requests which had been rejected by the prison officials, Saeed Shirzad, was suddenly transferred to hall 12 of ward 4 in Rajai Shahr prison, in the morning of 12th July 2015.

Saeed Sherzad who has been in detention since 2nd June 2014, is still deprived of meeting his lawyer and because of that he has refused to participate in the trial, so far.

He was also arrested on 22nd August 2012 when he had gone to help the people after the earthquake in Ahar, East Azerbaijan, and after spending 19 days in detention, he was released on the bail.

He was sentenced to 1 year suspended imprisonment by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court because of that case.
