Breathing in Confinement: More than forty days after the arrest of two Kurdish citizens named “Shawan Sheikh” and “Kaveh Sharifi” from Sardasht, there is still no information about their fate or their whereabouts.
According to an informed source, since the time of their arrest, the two citizens have been denied the rights of calling or visiting their families as well as the right to counsel.
The source said: “Despite their families repeated tries to find out about their condition, the security forces refuse to provide them with a clear answer about their fate or whereabouts.”
The two citizens were arrested without being shown a court order on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, by the agents of IRGC intelligence office and transferred to an unknown location.
