According to the reports obtained by “Breathing in Confinement,” since the morning of August 26, security forces have repeatedly contacted the people who attended the birthday celebration of Sattar Beheshti and threatened them to be arrested. They also blocked the roads and threatened the guests and prevented many people from attending the ceremony.
According to the reports, at 5 pm of the same day Sahar Beheshti and her husband Mustafa Islami were arrested and severely beaten.
After the guests left the home, Gohar Eshghi, Sattar Beheshti’s mother, went to Robat Karim Security Police, to follow up the situation of her girl and son in law. There is no report about the status of detainees yet.
