Breathing in Confinement: On Thursday, May 19, Davood and Ayyub Shiri, 2 activists from Azerbaijan- Iran, were detained by security forces and taken to an unknown location.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Thursday, May 19, 2022, Davood and Ayyub Shiri were arrested by security forces in Tabriz.
As of this writing, the reasons for their arrest, the charges against them, and their whereabouts are unknown.
