Breathing in Confinement: In the past few days, a citizen from Urmia was arrested by the security forces, being taken to an unknown location.
According to the Kurdistan Center for Democracy and Human Rights, a citizen from Urmia named “Shahriar Pour Ali”, the son of Esfandiar from Dizaj, was arrested by security forces and was taken to an unknown location.
According to this report, the exact charges against Mr. Pour Ali are yet to be known.
Shahriyar Pourali had previously also been arrested by the Revolutionary Guards on Saturday, August 15, 2020, while carrying goods across the border heights of the City of Urmia (as a Kulbar). After a few days, however, he was released on bail.
