Breathing in Confinement: Being pardoned by the blood owners, three prisoners in Shahroud Prison, who had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on murder charges, were saved from execution.
According to Rokna news agency, quoting Omid Kahrobaei, the head of the General Administration of Prisons in Semnan province, in 2013, in a murder case, four prisoners were sentenced to retribution. Kahrobaei added that one of the convicts was executed. Three other convicts, aged 32 to 39, all married and having children, were saved from execution with the consent of the victim’s family.
