Breathing in Confinement: Following the escalation of concerns around the COVID-19 outbreak, clashes took place in Hamadan prison at dawn on Sunday, March 29.
According to IRNA, on Sunday morning a clash happened in Hamadan prison. During the Corona-virus crisis, judicial authorities granted leave to some inmates, but not to many others. Meanwhile, in some other prisons, the inmates have been protesting and rioting against being deprived of leave and also against the conditions in prisons.
IRNA added that according to the information received, the situation in Hamadan prison is under control.
