Latif Hassani Returned to Rajai Shahr Prison

Breathing in Confinement – Latif Hassani, Azerbaijani political prisoner, went back to Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, after a short Leave.
According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, Latif Hassani, who was sent on leave from Rajai Shahr prison, since 22nd June, went back to this prison on 27th June.
This political prisoner was on hunger strike from 18th May 2014 for 52 days demanding his transfer to the prison in his home town, Karaj, and therefore he suffers from numerous health problems.
He has a history of open heart surgery, before his arrest.
Amnesty International in an urgent action statement on 4th July 2014 expressed their concern about the situation of this political prisoner, called for his immediate and unconditional release.
It is worth mentioning; he has been sentenced to 9 years imprisonment by the Branch 3 of the Revolutionary Court in Tabriz on charges of forming an illegal group and propaganda against the regime.
