Hossein Mansouri-Nasab Executed Alongside Two Other Prisoners in Ghezel Hesar Prison

Breathing in Confinement: At dawn on Wednesday, December 25, the death sentences of at least three prisoners who had been arrested and convicted on “drug related charges” and “enmity against God (moharebeh)” were carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, three prisoners were executed in the early hours of Wednesday, December 25, in Ghezel Hesar Prison on charges related to “drug offenses” and “enmity against God.” The identities of the prisoners have been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement as Hossein Mansouri-Nasab (Geravand), Masoud Jalilian, and Hamed Pakdaman.
As reported by Breathing in Confinement:
Hossein Mansouri-Nasab, son of Seyd Ali, from the village of Sartorhan in Kuhdasht, and Masoud Jalilian, from Kermanshah, were previously arrested on charges related to “drug offenses” and sentenced to death. These two prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinement three weeks ago in preparation for the execution.
A third prisoner, Hamed Pakdaman, from Hamedan, was sentenced to death three years ago for “enmity against God” through armed robbery.
Additionally, a prisoner named Hassan Ali Yousefi, who had been transferred to solitary confinement alongside the two others, had his execution halted and was returned to the general ward.
The executions were carried out at dawn on Wednesday, December 25, in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
