Breathing in a Confinement: Arash Sadeghi, a former political prisoner and one of the detainees of the nationwide uprising, has been denied the right to make phone calls.
According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran , Arash Sadeghi has been denied the right to make phone calls.
Hossein Sadeghi, Arash’s father, wrote on his personal page on social media: “Arash has been banned from making phone calls since a week by the order of the prosecutor’s office, the reason for it is yet to been announced.
Arash Sadeghi, who has previously been arrested and convicted due to his activities, was arrested by the security forces on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. He was finally transferred to the detention center of the Ministry of Intelligence known as Ward 209 at Evin Prison. In the middle of December, he was transferred from Great Tehran Prison to Evin Prosecutor’s Office and after an hour being interrogated, he was transferred to Ward 4 of Evin Prison.
