6 Activists Arrested and Summoned in Kamyaran

Breathing in Confinement – Intelligence agents have arrested four people in Kamyaran and at least 2 people have been summoned by this office for interrogation.

According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, after arresting Shahu Sadeghi on May 19, three others were also arrested in Kamyaran.

Aram Mohammadi, Mehrdad Saboori and Omid Ahmadi are the people who have been arrested by the intelligence service in Kamyaran without providing any explanation.

All of these people were arrested on May 19 and are now kept in the Intelligence Office of Sanandaj.

Following these arrests, Rojin Ebrahimi and Sholeh Goudarzi also were summoned to the Intelligence Office in Kamyaran and were under investigation, on May 21.

They were released after investigations but have to show up in the Intelligence Office in Kamyaran to continue the interrogations on June 23 and 24 accordingly.

It is said that they have been arrested and summoned because of participating in the May Day.

Mehrdad Sabouri, member of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers Organizations, had previously been detained in November 2013 and was sentenced to four months in prison.
