Mahmoud Salehi Released from the Prison in a Critical Health Condition

Breathing in Confinement – Mahmoud Salehi, a labor activist and member of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers’ Organizations, was released on 30th May after two times dialysis.
According to the report “Breathing in Confinement”, this labor activist on Saturday, was released from prison on 30th May after 33 days of detention, while was in the hospital in Sanandaj for the last 4 days, was.
Earlier, the human rights activist sources had reported that this labor activist had been transferred from branch 5 to branch 4 of Sanandaj court and his detention was xtended till 21st June, But according to his relatives, his physical illness and disease deterioration, leaded to his early freedom.
According to a person close to this labor activist, who suffers from kidney disease, he had no access to his medications in prison and this resulted to be admitted in a hospital it the past 4 days with an alias name in Sanandaj and has had twice dialysis in that hospital.
According to this source, the Intelligence Ministry agents, on Saturday, contacted Mr Salehi’s family and said they could pick him up from the hospital.
Mahmoud Salehi, labor activist and member of the Coordinating Committee to Help Form Workers’ Organization, was arrested by security forces at his house on Tuesday, 28th April, on the eve of May Day.
