Shahrokh Zamani’s Body Delivered To His Family

Breathing in Confinement – The body of Shahrokh Zamani, labor activist who died yesterday at Rajai Shahr Prison, was delivered to his family.

According to the reporters of “Breathing in Confinement”, Shahrokh Zamani’s body, which was transferred yesterday evening to Bibi Sakineh cemetery, this afternoon had been delivered to his family.

One of his close friends in an interview with “Breathing in Confinement”, by confirming this news, said: “Shahrokh Zamani’s family has been in Bibi Sakina cemetery since this morning. The authorities initially refused to hand over the body and said that it must had been confirmed by the security forces, but, finally they handed over his body to his family around noon, and tomorrow he will be buried in Tabriz.”

Additionally, Shahrokh Zamani’s inmates found his lifeless body at 17.00 o’clock yesterday in his room at Hall 12, ward 4 in Rajai Shahr Prison while drops of blood was visible on his mouth and bruises found on his head.

Rajai Shahr Prison’s clinic has diagnosed stroke as the cause of his death.
