Leila Hosseinzadeh transferred to Adel Abad prison in Shiraz

Breathing in Confinement: According to her family, Leila Hosseinzadeh, a detained university student and former political prisoner, has been transferred to the general ward of Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz.
According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on a phone call to her family, Leila Hosseinzadeh informed them of her transfer to the general ward of Adel Abad prison in Shiraz.
After repeated transfers between Evin Prison Detention Center, Intelligence in Shiraz, and Police Detention Center in Shiraz, eight days ago she was transferred to the quarantine ward of Adel Abad Prison and afterward to the ward of drug offenders in this prison. She had been denied the right to call her family until September 13. She is also denied the right to contact her lawyer.
Leila Hosseinzadeh is in custody while bail warrant has been issued since the moment of her arrest, but her family has not been permitted to post bail.
According to the reports, after being transferred to Shiraz, Leila Hosseinzadeh was kept in Soroush Police Detention Center and was repeatedly transferred to the Detention Center of the Ministry of Intelligence for interrogation.
While previously, the forensic doctor certified her inability to tolerate punishment, Leila Hosseinzadeh is still under detention where her physical condition is deteriorating and her joints, digestive system and eyes are affected.
On August 20, 2022, Leila Hosseinzadeh was arrested in front of her home in Tehran, after being beaten by the security agents.
She several times has been arrested and imprisonment in Evin prison.
