Execution of at least three prisoners in Isfahan prison

Breathing in Confinement: At least three prisoners who in separate cases had previously been sentenced to death were executed in the end of July and the beginning of August 2020 in Isfahan Central Prison.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, in the end of July and the beginning of August 2020, at least three prisoners were secretly executed in Isfahan Prison in the silence of state media. Breathing in Confinement has identified one of these prisoners as Rahman Sterki, 24, from Bakhtiari neighborhood of Juyabad in Isfahan who had been in prison for 5 years.
Breathing in Confinement is investigating to identify the other two executed prisoners.
According to the Statistics Center of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, the Islamic Republic authorities have executed at least 114 prisoners in the first 6 months of 2020.
