Breathing in Confinement – A prisoner convicted of murder was executed in the City of Ahvaz on December 4, 2019.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Organization, a prisoner was executed at Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz on Wednesday morning, December 4.
The prisoner was identified as Somayeh Shahbazi Jahroui, 33, with the charge of murder.
According to the report, about 6 years ago, Somayeh Shahbazi Jahroui had been accused of killing a person and setting his body on fire.
One of her relatives said yesterday: “The person whom Somayeh murdered had been trying to rape her. After killing him, being scared, Somayeh took the body out of the city and set it on fire.
The execution has so far not been announced by the relevant authorities.
