Arash Ghalegolab arrested by security forces in Abadan

Breathing in Confinement: On Thursday, May 26, 2022, Arash Ghalehgolab, a poet and journalist living in Abadan, was beaten and detained by security forces during a protest rally held in front of the collapsed Metropole Tower.

According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Thursday, May 26, 2022, Arash Ghalehgolab was arrested by security forces. The journalist’s arrest was accompanied by violence and beatings.

Five days have passed since the arrest of Mr. Ghalehgulab, yet no information is available about his whereabouts or the charges against him.
