Breathing in Confinement: On August 19, 2022, a child fuel carrier was seriously injured in the head by the police officers throwing a hard object at him in the City of Tardest in Zahedan. The child died after being taken to the hospital due to his serious injuries.
According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at noon on August 19, 2022, a 17-year-old fuel carrier was hit by a hard object in the head by the police officers of the Tardast checkpoint and died after being taken to the hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
The 17 years old fuel carrier has been identified as Bahram Shahnavazi, son of Abdullah, a resident of Mirjaveh city.
A large number of people along with fuel carriers gathered in front of the Tardast police station to protest the police violent act and to make the police station commander accountable.
