Breathing in Confinement: On Sunday, October 3, 2021, a Kurdish citizen named Aram Moradian, son of Osman from the village of “Tangisar” in the Javroud district of Sanandaj, was released from prison on 500 million Tomans bail awaiting the trial.

 

Aram Moradian was arrested by security forces on Saturday, April 27, 2021, and transferred to the Intelligence Office in Sanandaj. Following the completion of his interrogation, Mr. Moradian was transferred from Intelligence Detention Center to Sanandaj Prison. While in detention, he was denied the right to counsel as well as the right to visit his family.
